Karl began hosting Bush League, an Abbotsford Canucks podcast, in late 2021, along with former UFV Cascade Sports Editor, the late Justin Orlewicz. He says “CIVL has always been home to some of the best Sports coverage in Community and Campus Radio across the country. Bush League is honoured to be a part of such an amazing organization and to bring the hardware home for CIVL this year was a huge honour.”
After 7 years of hosting Chill Rose Radio on CIVL, and receiving an honourable mention in the Volunteer of the Year category for 2021, Stephen Munga is also proud to be recognized nationally for his work.
“I accept this award on behalf of the artists that make my job a lot easier,” says Munga, CIVL’s Music Director, Jam in Jubilee performance booker, and host of Canada’s National Earshot Chart program, as well as this year’s award winning program for Hip Hop, Chill Rose Radio. “The art that you create, and the courage you have in expressing yourself, allows me to do my job.”
