Amazingly sensitive, practiced and hugely talented, Ambi Subramaniam is one of India’s most accomplished violinists!

Hailed as the new king of Indian classical violin, Ambi Subramaniam is a recognizable name in the world of violin of his stunning mastery of performing both Carnatic and Western music on the violin. Carnatic music has one of the most sophisticated melodic and rhythmic structures in the world. The violin entered Carnatic music tradition during the early part of the 19th century and today has become one of the most important instruments on the concert platform, because of how closely it resembles the human voice.
