Bold and captivating, Ballet Jörgen celebrates the power of true love and magic with Cinderella, Tuesday, February 14 at 7:30 pm at the Chilliwack Culture Centre.

One of the most beloved and classic fairy tales takes on new life as Ballet Jörgen balances Russian traditions with contemporary dance. This ballet is an innovative take and balances the fairy tale elements of the story with a contemporary treatment of Cinderella and her family relationships.

Creating a realistic and relatable Cinderella, Jörgen sets her against the magical aspects of the story and weaves Cinderella’s believeability together with the joyous magic of the setting. This classic ballet takes on modern, dramatic sensibilities while creating a fantastic environment with beautiful costumes and set pieces.
