Halq’eméylem Language Learning and Sharing (Part1)

Leanne Joe is offering beginner language sessions for greetings and territorial place names.
Do you want to:
- learn how to introduce yourself in Halq’eméylem?
- practice pronouncing the names of the local First Nations?
- learn some of the history of Halq’eméylem and our sister dialects?
If you are staff or faculty at UFV and said yes to one or all of these, I would love to have you join one of my Halq’eméylem sharing sessions.
The session is in person on May 1st, from 12:00 to 12:50 pm in G124 on the Abbotsford Campus.
