Precarious, a community collage play produced by Mission Overdose Community Action Team, unveils stories of the toxic unregulated drug supply crisis.

With warmth, authenticity, and a touch of humour, Precarious acknowledges the risky times in which we all live and engages the audience with a vision for transformation.

Through scenes and songs, the play interweaves some of the history of prohibition, explores the unfolding human tragedy of the Fentanyl crisis, while celebrating the heroism of peers and families on the front lines and on some songs the audience is invited to sing along.

The Precarious Players, building this community play together, made space for healing in the process of addressing the toxic drug supply crisis through art. The stories will resonate with people and provide a focus and facts that rarely seem to make it into the mainstream.

Precarious runs Dec.1 and 2, 2023 at the Clarke Theatre 33700 Prentis Ave. in Mission.
