The Scholarly Sharing Initiative (SSI) team invites you to an evening of light refreshment and intellectual exchange on April 13th at 4:30 – 6:30 pm!

SASI is not only a great example of interdisciplinary scholarly research and exchange at UFV, but the Institute has been so generous in sharing its space over the years for our in-person events, and various affiliated members have also presented and helped organize panels for the Scholarly Sharing Initiative. As a result, we want to extend a particularly warm invitation to come join us for this event.

The event will include:

• A few words and new announcements from the SSI organizers
• A presentation and discussion: “Plants, Language, Stories: The UFV Shakespeare Reconciliation Garden Revisited” – with Melissa Walter, Siyámíya Dianna Kay, Keith Carlson, and Alan Reid.
• “What’s in a name?” cards for attendees, designed by Teresa Carlson, and featuring information from Íhtelstexw Te Shxwelí: Feeding the soul and the Shakespeare Reconciliation Garden
• Food, drinks, social and intellectual exchange!
