UFV’s SOC 399 class (Women, Violence and True Crime, Prof. Kathleen Rodgers) in this 4-episode consisting of 2 parts in each series as they outline the details of true crime cases that happened within our very own Fraser Valley. From infamous cases to stories, you might not have heard before, students use a critical analysis to further investigate these cases. Focused particularly on issues of gender-based violence, this series will have you question the true crime genre as a whole. Can we find the voices of the victims, or will they be lost in the echoes?
