I Live Here Now

“After hosting the Anarcha-Feminist Kool Aid Acid Test at CFRU 93.3 FM in Guelph, Ontario, from 2005-2010 – where he revelled in inviting anyone and everyone to share the airwaves and elevate their voices, as well as interviewing and consternating musicians from 50 Cent to The Velvet Underground’s John Cale, K’naan to Sloan’s Jay Ferguson, Dennis Lyxzen of Refused to Animal Collective, TV on the Radio, Grizzly Bear, Liars, Wintersleep, Hella, Tokyo Police Club, Against Me!, and Madlib, among others, and along with a weekly smattering of local artists and community activators, just to set the tone – in addition to becoming the millennia’s first radio voice of the Guelph Gryphons in 2007, I Live Here Now,” says CIVL Radio Station Manager Aaron Levy.

Photo reflects his Western-most radio journey yet, visiting Vancouver Island University’s CHLY 101.7 studios in downtown Nanaimo, where he ate no bars, but was joined incidentally by former CFRU station manager and co-host from a previously lifetime, Peter Bradley.

Now, after pandemic and other subsequent breaks, join him with hockey-pool savant Cam the Man to survey the world of sports and topical current events.
