The Green Majority is a radio program produced at CIUT in Toronto, Canada. We feature weekly news headlines and environmental features in arts, politics, philosophy, law, and more. We are Canada’s first – and only – dedicated environmental newshour.
Our Mandate
Polls indicate that most Canadians care about environmental issues and wish to lead more sustainable lifestyles. The mission of TGM is to support this “Green Majority” in the following ways:
- Raise awareness about Canadian environmental issues.
- Connect listeners with their environmental communities.
- Encourage green values, philosophies and lifestyles.
