Join The Reach and UFV’s School of Creative Arts on Wednesday, November 16, for an artist talk with Catherine Blackburn about her current exhibition “New Age Warriors” on view now at The Reach. This talk will happen online via Zoom from 1-2pm; free and all are welcome!

New Age Warriors is a celebration of the strength, resilience, and ingenuity of artist Catherine Blackburn’s ancestors as well as the women in her life. Melding traditional beadwork with contemporary design, the exhibition engages and explores Canada’s colonial history building off of Blackburn’s  personal narratives of identity and culture.
