The Chilliwack Academy of Music continually strives to bring new creative spaces where music can flourish and this November, they are proud to debut a new mixed RE:ACTION choir program to Chilliwack!

Led by The Chilliwack Cultural Centre’s Executive Director, Jean-Louis Bleau, this choir will benefit from his expertise in cross cultural music and his strong belief in collaboration. Having past experience leading choirs that has included the University of Calgary Chamber Choir and Mount Royal University’s Artio Choir, Jean-Louis love for music will make being a part of this choir an invaluable experience.

The importance of not only creating a space that nourishes people’s passion for music, but also creates a safe environment for everyone, was at the forefront of everyone’s minds when discussing this program. This safe space, free of prejudice, welcomes everyone who is looking to build not only their love of music, but create bonds with others.

On November 15 and November 22, at 6:00 pm, The Chilliwack Academy of Music welcomes you to join in for the choir’s two open rehearsals. These rehearsals are an opportunity for you to sing through pieces that will be part of the upcoming seasons repertoire.
