Nishi Channa is a writer, rookie singer, and budding radio host. She is currently a second-year student at UFV dabbling in various languages, English, and art subjects. She can speak English, Hindi and Punjab fluently and is a beginner in Japanese, French and German.

In her spare time, she likes to read fantasy and mystery novels, sing and listen to pop songs, play games, watch anime, learn languages and learn about various cultures. She is currently volunteering at Cascade newspaper and CIVL radio.

She is currently hosting a segment named “Review Break” at CIVL Radio. This segment airs regularly on CIVL radio and is about her experience in various community events she attends. 

Another segment currently on air is the “Have you heard?” series which is a Halloween special. It’s a 10-day countdown to Halloween. The spooky stories she describes will surely hype you up for Halloween. It starts on the 22nd of October and ends on the 31st of October 2024, the night of Halloween. 

Moving forward, she would like to make more creative shows with CIVL Radio and is grateful for the opportunity we provided her. Nishi is looking forward to where this journey takes her and hopes you are too!
