Surjit Atwal has years of experience working within the government of British Columbia, and graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and Athabasca University with a Masters of Integrated Studies. He is known as an excellent networker.

His weekly CIVL program, Eye on the Valley features conversations with policymakers at the local/municipal, provincial and federal levels of government and engagement, as well as non-profit organizations and businesses from across the country.
